OUR HISTORY
In 2009, the leading Italian company LA.MA. S.R.L., founded by Mr. Luciano Mazzanti and Mr. Filippo Mazzanti, joined hands with Nilraj Engineering, India’s largest aluminium capacitor can manufacturer, to form LAMA Nilraj Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
Commercial production of plastic capacitor parts began in March 2010. Between 2010 and 2017, under the guidance of our Italian partners, our Indian team acquired comprehensive know-how in molding, extrusion, mold design, and manufacturing..
By 2017, the company became fully owned by the Indian partners.
In June 2022, LAMA Nilraj acquired 17,300 sq. meters of land, expanding our manufacturing footprint to 22,000 sq. ft. By the end of 2025, we will complete new construction of an additional 22,000 sq. ft., bringing our total manufacturing area to 44,000 sq. ft.
INFRASTRUCTURE & CAPABILITIES

Full-fledged in-house tool room equipped with CNC, VMC, spark erosion, lathe, and centerless grinding machines
Extensive range of machinery, including 2 extrusion lines and 14 injection moulding machines, as well as fully automatic riveting machines
By the end of 2025, we will be adding 2 more extrusion lines and 10 additional injection moulding machines
DIGITAL INITIATIVES
At LAMA Nilraj Engineering, we’re committed to building a smart and efficient future. We’ve developed our own in-house app-based platform to digitize and streamline operations across departments. This system enables real-time production tracking, data recording, and analysis — all in one digital ecosystem. As part of our long-term vision, we are proudly progressing toward becoming a fully paperless company, embracing sustainability and operational excellence.
